OLD BUSINESS:
(a) March minutes accepted as read.

REPORTS AND NEW BUSINESS:
(a) Commissioner's Report - See attached report from David Hearne.

(b) Boy Scout Program Reports: John Cortese reports that Camporee is on
schedule and 5 troops and 3 packs have pre-registered.  Staff that wants to
eat at the Camporee must pay Ed Williams $12.00 for meals (entire weekend)
no later than the April 20th Round Table.

John Cortese reported that SMF training for May 19 - 21 is progressing. Next
Staff meeting is April 12 at 7 PM at Scout Office. Pre-registration forms for
participants will go out by mid-April.  Bearclaw course is still in question.

Larry Nessly reported that he attended quarterly Boy Scout Program Committee
meeting. He got some good information at the meeting and gave it to his
sub-committee people. Only 2 people attended the subject meeting that were
not presentors.  Aquatics program still in process. No new OA Advisor yet.
Terry and Scott are working on finding an OA Advisor quickly.

John Slocumb reported on Boy Scout Advancement. Council had 183 Eagles in
1994. Any recommendations for Heroism Award must be put in promptly or they
may not be recognized. OA will only fund 50% of Eagle Award packets in 1995.
Steve Merritt reported 1 Eagle from T331 had passed Board of Review.

(c) Cub Program Reports: Jan Leonard reported Cub Day Camp is proceeding
well ahead of schedule. Lots of pre-registrations already are coming in.
There will be a Den Chief training session held on the Saturday before Cub
Day Camp along with the Staff meeting and parent orientation.

Jan reported that the Webelos Transition Workshop may be held on May 13th
(new date). General info in morning session and outdoor Webelos Activities
Badge training in the afternoon session. Fred Tutwiler needs about 6 more
Staff people, preferably with both Cub Scout and Boy Scout backgrounds.

Kathy Connelly reported on training. Looking at using the Garner LDS church
for the May 20th training.  May be a 1/2 day course if new syllabus is used.
The Council POW-WOW on March 25 had 14 presentors from Dan Beard.

Judy Ward reported on Cub Scout Advancement - See attached report.

(d) Membership Report: Harry Zechman reported that we ended March with 2250
youth members compared to 2161 last March. New unit dinner on March 23rd
had light attendance and only 1 unit from Dan Beard (Woodhaven).
Spring Roundup on April 27th will have multiple locations central to each
of our areas in the district.

(f) Activities and Civic Service Reports: Susan Long reported that no new
location has been found yet for the Round Table. Ed Williams and Harry
Zechman to recheck the possibilities that were discussed.
