1. Pledge by Ed Williams and Dusty Fletcher, Invocation by Stan Belyeu.

2. April minutes were approved as written.

3. District Commissioner - Ron Werley: Pack 208 has been contacted to
get re-chartered. Stan Belyeu got Pack 205 chartered and Troop 205
is coming in. That leaves only Pack and Troop 307 to re-charter.

4. Boy Scout Program:

Advancement - Ed Williams: No report, will send out information on
the listbot when he has tabulated all the pink advancement sheets.

Eagle Board - Rudy Hines/Steve Stewart: April had 5 finals, all
approved and 4 projects, none approved (most were minor problems).
So far for May they have 1 final and 5 projects scheduled.

Training - John Slocumb: The April SMF course had 62 participants
and 29 on the staff. John and W.E. said it was the first course
they had ever held on which they had no complaints.

Camporee - Jim McGraw: Jim reported an outstanding camporee with 29
Troops and 3 Crews in attendance with a total of 613 Scouts and
Scouters. A total of $1,011 was turned over to the council.

Camping - John Cortese: No report.

5. Cub Program:

Training - Kathy Connelly: No Cub BLT on May 20. There should be one
in June or July. Stan Belyeu said that Pack 205 needed a BLT course
in June. Kathy said we could discuss it in the June committee
meeting. Pam Strug is going to replace Kathy as Training Chairman.

Advancement - Judy Ward: April had 1 Bobcat, 12 Wolves, 14 Bears, 46
Webelos and 51 Arrow of Lights. 12 Packs out of 35 had advancement.

Cub Day Camp - No report.

6. Order of the Arrow - Steve Stewart for the Taylors: 73 out of 145
elected candidates were "tapped out" at the Camporee. That was more
than 50% of the elected candidates. Thanks to the OA the campfire
ceremony was well received and the "tap out" was done quickly.

7. Health & Safety - No report.

8. Membership - Stan Belyeu: 31 schools had flyers delivered to them
by 20 volunteers (Dusty and Ed were 2 of them). 19,000 flyers were
put in the schools. Stan has formed a "Membership and Relationships"
Committee. Jeff Miller and Jon Spencer are going to serve on the
committee with Stan. The District level kickoff for the Fall Roundup
will be on May 30th. Stan will get the information out via the
listbot and the May Round Table.

 9. Activities and Civic Service - Dusty Fletcher: No report.

10. Finance - Rodger Skirvin: We are at 68% of our goal or $46,816.00
out of $70,000.00. We should be at our goal already. He is still
searching for a popcorn Kernel. Dusty Fletcher, Roger Lear and Ed
    Williams will help.

11. New Business: When committee members get up at Roundtable to talk,
Bob wants us to introduce ourselves and tell them what our district
position is so that everyone will know who is speaking.

12. New Business: There have been several items put on the listbot and
sent to our Scouters about possible service time and Eagle projects.

13. Committee Member of the Month: Jim McGraw for being our Camporee
Chief and John Slocumb for being the Scoutmaster to the April SMF
    course.

14. DE's Minute - Rodger Skirvin: Rodger invited all of the committee
to come to the May 11 Council Planning Review (be there at 6:30 pm
if you want to eat, otherwise at 7 pm). The Council golf tournament
is at Prestonwoods here in Cary on May 8. Rodger could use all the
help he can get for that day, especially from 11 am to 1 pm. If you
    can help, please call him.
