Popcorn - Shari Garrett: Our 44 units hit a new high in the 1999 popcorn sales. The gross sales for our district, including the show and sell popcorn, stands at $261,566.00. We had $222,066.00 in take order sales and $39,500.00 in show and sell sales. What a great job the units did! Congratulations Shari and all units selling popcorn. The Council finally hit more than $1,000,000.00 (1 Million $) in popcorn sales and we accounted for more than 1/4 of it and there are 11 districts in the Council (the other 10 districts sold the other 3/4 of the popcorn). Think what we could do if the other 30 units in our district sold popcorn! We increased $71,523 over last year. Units will be contacted by Shari for their popcorn pickup times on Friday, Nov. 12th or Saturday, Nov. 13th.
