Scouting For Food Information for all Scouters

Steve Chapman is our Scouting For Food Chairman. The Meyer's published a document outlining the procedures for the units participating in our Scouting for Food program and challenging all of our units to join in the Scouting for Food program. The document may be read by looking under the Site Map heading of District Scouting For Food, Scouting for Food Challange 2013-2014 or click on the following link:

District Committee Meetings:

Crosswinds District Committee Meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of each month, with the exception of July and December. Meetings start at 7:00 pm and normally end by 8:30 pm. The meetings are currently held at the First United Methodist Church of Cary, in the Log Cabin at 127 Waldo Street in downtown Cary

District Roundtable Meetings:

Crosswinds District Roundtable meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month, with the exception of July. We gather at 6:30 pm for one-half hour of visiting. We start the actual Roundtable program at 7:00 pm and normally end at around 8:30 pm. The meetings are currently held at the LDS Church (Cary Ward), at 1811 Seabrook Ave., Cary, NC 27511, just off the SE Cary Parkway.
