Tom Doligalski, Bill Fairhurst, Bob Gamble, Jerry Jester,
Roger Lear, Susan Long, Jim McGraw, Beckie Nalley, Pam Sen,

1. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Robbie Spivey. Robbie introduced our
guests, Bob Crowley with the NHVRR group and Bill Shenberger of Troop 210.
2. Crosswinds District minutes for January 2005 were approved as written.
3. Membership/Relationships - Suzie Slopek: They are working on 5 new units
and more. Pack 359 at White Oak Missionary Baptist Church registration is
almost complete.
4. Religious Emblems - Chris Siegl & Robbie Spivey: About 11 Packs and 13
Troops have responded to our District that they will be involved in Scout
Sunday activities. That is a good response for the 1st year we have done a
survey of all our 21 Packs & 20 Troops about their plans for Scout Sunday.
5. Commissioner Service - Susan Long: All active charters have been handed
out. Pack 208 at Christ the King Lutheran Church and Pack 313 at the Cary
VFW look like they cannot find leadership for their Packs and may not
re-charter. All 5 LDS Teams are disbanding, however, most of the Scouts
are going to register in their Troop or Crew.
March 15 is re-charter turn-in night and those units not doing it on the
15th should turn their charters in before the March 17 Round Table.
Round Table ADC - Gary Thorn: Gary, Jerry Jester and Rudy Rowell said that
we had good representation of units at the January Round Table.
6. Finance = Martin Banning: Our 2005 FOS Campaign has reached $30,00 of our
$99,000 goal. All of our units have signed up to give FOS presentations to
their units. This year's FOS Breakfast is being held on March, 24 at 7:30am
at the Prestonwoods Country Club. If any of our Committee members want to
attend this breakfast, please contact Martin Banning.
Popcorn - Beckie Nalley: Beckie reported that the Council took in
$1.825,000 for the 2004 sale. That was an outstanding effort by all
Districts, with Crosswinds taking second place in the sale with a total sale
of $259,826. Great job by Cindy Smith, Suzie Slopek and all our District
Scouts and Scouters.

9. Boy Scout Program - Ed Walsh:
Boy Scout Advancement - Tom Doligalski: Tom reported the 2004 results for
Boy Scout advancement. The figures are dubious, but out of 20 Troops, only
1 did not have any advancement for 2004. We had the following ranks
awarded: 74 Scout, 57 Tenderfoot, 66 Second Class, 49 First Class, 34 Star,
32 Life, 35 Eagles, 7 Palm awards and 971 Merit Badges.
Eagle Board of Review - Tom Allen: Tom reported by e-mail that the January
EBOR had 1 final approved and 3 projects, 2 approved and 1 suspended.
Boy Scout Camporee - Jerry Jester: The patches and ribbons for the April
8-10 Camporee have been ordered. They are in process of laminating all the
land navigation maps. About 350 Scouts and Scouters are pre-registered.
10. Order of the Arrow - Tom Doligalski: The OA meets at 7pm, just before
Round Table. A work day will be held at Camp Campbell on February 19 and
the spring OA Pow-Wow is being held on March 18-20.
11. Venturing - Bill Fairhurst: Bill mentioned again that the Venture Vortex
has been re-scheduled for June 19-24. He took a group of Venture Scouts
to Winterfest in Tennessee and a shotgun shooting course is being planned
for this summer. There will be a SWAT weekend in 2006 for those Venture

Methodist Church. A New Leader Essentials course is being planned for

Durant, with John Cortese as Course Director. We need Crosswinds adult
Scouters to sign up to help teach the course. Contact Suzie or John.
14. Committee - Robbie Spivey: Robbie asked each current member of the
Committee to try and get a helper for their position, with the idea that
the helper would take over the position when the current Committee member
