3. Membership/Relationships - Rodger Skirvin: They are trying to get a new Cub
Pack at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church. We had several new Scouts sign up
at Bond Park. The goal is to add 5 units (3 dropped last year) and we have
only 1 so far. We currently have 58 units and 1765 Scouts (726 Cubs, 990
Boy Scouts and 49 Venture Scouts).

$103K and Major Gifts are at $52K.

2009 Popcorn Sale - Beckie Dayton: We are going to use Terry's Floor
Fashions Warehouse, at 300 Durham Road in Cary, for the 2009 popcorn. The
first popcorn shipment will arrive there on September 24 at 7:30am.	The
popcorn kick-off meeting has been moved to September 8 at Cary First Baptist
Church in Cary. The 3rd floor meeting room will have signs leading to it.

5. Training - Will Highsmith (via e-mail): The Sept. 26th Mega Training at
Cary First Baptist Church is up on the Council Calendar and they are taking
reservations for the course. He needs someone to coordinate and instruct
the Varsity session. University of Scouting is on Nov. 7th and registration
is on-line.	The Woodbadge Critter Dinner is on Sept. 27th.	He is looking
to schedule a BALOO course in November. The training records database
project is awaiting some software fixes before they resume testing.

a Flag Ceremony. Please contact Rodger or Chris to let them know you are
coming and show up at 6:45 pm for the 7:30 pm program start.

Scouting For Food - Chris Meyer (via e-mail) In the last year our District
has collected more than 10 tons of food that has been donated to local
charities. We had set a goal of 10 tons and we have surpassed that goal.
Thanks to all the units that did the work to help us with SFF.

10. Our annual District Business Meeting date was discussed. We will probably
hold it at our November 5, 2009 District meeting as we cannot hold it on
December 3, 2009 as we are going to hold our District Awards and
