3. Membership/Relationships - Bill Reynolds: We are in the process of getting
a Troop started at St. Mary Magdalene, which currently sponsors Pack 224.
District membership stands at 1028 Cubs, 827 Boy Scouts and 29 Venture
Scouts for a total of 1884.	We ended 2004 with 1928 Scouts and 57 units.
We currently have 49 units.	We will not make Quality District in 2005.

4. Commissioner Service - Susan Long (via verbal report to R. Lear); Susan is
aiming for December 15, 2005 to complete the unit roster review. Please
send your current unit rosters to Susan, Martin or your UC.	Three of our
Commissioners attended the Scouting University and Commissioners College.
Susan said our District still needs more Unit Commissioners. Unit Charters
will be sent out in January, 2006. Susan asks that all units seriously
consider re-chartering for 2006 on-line. Contact her if you have questions.

Round Table ADC - Gary Thorn: November Round Table had 52 attendees. We
running above our 2004 RT attendance and will try to start a new incentive
to attend RT in January of 2006.

Boy Scout RT Comm. - Jerry Jester: December RT Boy Scout program will be a
planning and practice session for the theme/games for Spring Camporee.

5. Finance - Jerry Jester for the FOS Family Campaign:	Jerry has contacted all
units and asked them to provide a unit FOS representative so they can attend
the December 15 RT for unit FOS representative training.

Popcorn - Beckie Dayton: Beckie reported the nearly final figures for our
District Popcorn Sale. Our units sold almost $31,000 more worth of popcorn
than last year. Crosswinds units sold $291,636 worth of popcorn, with unit
commissions at $87,490.80. The Council stands at $1,939,567 in total sales,
which is $114,163.00 more in sales than they did last year!
Our top selling Pack was Pack 200 at $32,034 and our top selling Troop was
Troop 213 at $11,026. Pack 224 came in second at $22,702 and Pack 218 came
in third at $22,290. Troop 209 came in second at $10,936 and Troop 200 came
in third at $9,336.	Thanks to ALL of our units for an outstanding sale!

Beckie said that the Council has a full pallet (many cases) of every type of
popcorn left over. If your unit wants to make more commission and continue
selling, contact the Scout Office to get the popcorn at the Council price.
Before you do that, contact Beckie to tell her what you want, as we would
like to fill additional orders from our left over unit inventory. That
makes more money for the units and gives the units a more successful sale.

6. Cub Scout Day Camp - Martin Banning: The Wake County Cub Day Camp is being
headed up by Terry McMichal and Eric James is the advisor. Council Day
Camp planning is also in progress.

7. Boy Scout Program:

   Eagle Ranks and 3 projects.

we became the Crosswinds District. Thank you Chris.

Essentials course for Cub leader basic training on January 21, 2006. Times
and place will be announced later on the Council's Training Calender pages
on the Council web site (www.campdurant.com).

District Committee Training will be held on January 28, 2006 at Millbrook
UMC in Raleigh. All of our District Committee should attend that training.

The Wake County Training Team is working towards insuring we have timely and
consistent training through out Wake County.

Committee Christmas party on Tuesday, December 20th at Robbie's home,
probably from 6pm to 9pm. Spouses will be invited also and it will
be a uniform free event. Robbie or Martin will contact the District
    Committee members with the details.
